Beach Workout for Fat Loss

I am currently in my hometown, Oceanside, California attending my 20 year reunion and visiting family. While on vacation it is easy to use it as an excuse NOT to continue with your fitness and health plans but it really is possible to stay on track.

I pack my sandbag shells and Jungle Gym in my suitcase so I could get a great workout no matter where I am.

Knowing I was staying with my sister-in-law who lives 3 blocks from the beach made it easy. I brought my sandbag shells and filled them up at the beach. I recorded my circuit I did that is excellent for fat loss. Read more

Feeling Stressed This Holiday Season?

Can you believe it’s December already? Where has this year flown?

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had planned on getting away for the holiday by driving down state a few hours and staying in a hotel with a heated pool and spa. Due to my tailbone injury we ended up staying home and having a wonderful time regardless.

It is very common for the stress of the holidays to cause many to put aside thoughts of fitness and become victims of tradition. Fitness Coach said what?! Let me ask you this. How many of your holiday traditions center around food? Elaborate meals; endless cookies of all flavors, shapes and sizes; parties with numerous friends that center around food; decorations made of food (gingerbread house); gifts for friends made of food. A Plan for Home School and Fitness

This is the time of year that homeschool mothers love.  We’re planning our next school adventure and enjoying the summer with our families.  I am actually behind in my planning this year with my brother visiting this week, but my husband leaves today for a month and that gives me plenty of time to get my school year planned out.
